Gregal

The art of mixing | 0.5L

Gregal is an olive oil made using the Lecciana variety: the result of mixing Arbosana and Leccino. Unique in personality, its strength and elegance are prominent.

This olive variety is clearly influenced by the Mediterranean: a sea with shallow waters, which produces currents affecting the entire ecosystem where the Gregale wind forms.

PROXIMAMENTE

TASTING NOTE

This is a highly fruity EVOO with great complexity due to the wide variety of perfectly identifiable vegetal aromas, combining ripe and green notes. There are aromas such as green almond, accompanied by other riper ones like fruit compote and tomato.

It offers a distinctly sweet attack, accompanied by a subtle bitterness and medium spiciness in the mouth, all perfectly balanced. In the mouth, the oil is very intense and highly aromatic, with a unique profile but a 100% Mediterranean style.

After harvesting, the olives are transported to the mill in the shortest possible time, where they will be ground.

We clean the fruit and then grind it. With this, we obtain a paste which we beat and spin for a short time at a low temperature never exceeding 28 degrees.

Author oil Gregal and it's pairings

Innovative and complex variety with sweet and spicy notes, ideal for giving different nuances to our salads, but which works perfectly for cooking more elaborate stews, but we do not hesitate to recommend pairing it with a good bread with tomato and ham, as it is of an oil with an intense fruity character
